The following strategies for addressing online gender-based violence were developed by a team of experts and global contributors as part of and following the Tech Policy Design Lab on OGBV.

Mobilizing for change

Tackling OGBV requires action from a multitude of stakeholders at all levels and across all sectors. From caring for the individuals most affected and centering their experience, to effecting change at the government level, ending OGBV needs to be prioritized for the benefit of greater society.

It is essential to develop a new narrative that shifts the onus of responsibility from survivors to perpetrators and accountable institutions.
