Tech Policy Design Playbook

Tech Policy Design Labs bring together governments, companies and civil society in a collaborative environment and use human-centered design thinking to develop policies, processes, or products at the intersection of technology and human rights that come with commitments that are measurable and accountable.

Background

Web Foundation has now run two Tech Policy Design Labs (TPDL) and within those explored numerous ways of designing interventions to create a more equitable web. Building on the learning process from the OGBV TPDL, Superbloom has been working with four contributors and 8 advisors from the global majority to develop a playbook to support organizations and teams interested in using the TPDL model to develop interventions in issues areas, such as OGBV. The playbook is available in the form of a website so that various stakeholders can better explore and utilize the playbook to build a more equitable web and engage with efforts to combat OGBV.
